Terms of Service

The rules for using Oreviyo and related services.

Welcome to Oreviyo. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our mobile application and related services. By creating an account, using the app, or subscribing to Premium, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Our Service

Oreviyo is a travel planning application that helps users organize trips, destinations, itineraries, packing lists, notes, shared trip members, and related travel information.

The app is a planning and organization tool only. We do not provide travel, visa, immigration, legal, financial, medical, transportation, hotel, airline, or insurance advice. We do not book flights, hotels, transportation, tours, or other travel services on your behalf.

2. User Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features, including syncing, sharing trips, inviting members, and subscribing to Premium.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, please contact us.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating or updating your account.

3. Guest Mode

Some features may be available in guest mode. Guest data may be stored locally on your device. If you uninstall the app, change devices, clear app data, or lose access to your device, guest data may be lost.

Creating an account allows supported data to be synced with our backend services.

4. User Content

You may add trips, destinations, notes, itinerary items, packing items, uploaded images, and other content to the app.

You are responsible for the content you add. You agree not to upload, create, or share content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, infringing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.

We may remove, reject, restrict, or disable access to content that violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.

5. Uploaded Images

If image upload is available, uploaded images may be checked using automated moderation tools or other safety processes. We may reject or remove images that appear unsafe, offensive, inappropriate, or unrelated to normal app use.

We do not guarantee that moderation systems will detect every inappropriate image.

6. Shared Trips and Collaboration

You may invite other users to view or edit specific trips. You are responsible for choosing the correct role and permissions for each invited person.

Users with edit access may change trip content. We are not responsible for changes made by people you invite.

You should not add personal, sensitive, or confidential information to shared trips unless you are comfortable with invited members seeing it.

7. Subscriptions and Premium

The app may offer a Premium subscription that unlocks additional features or higher limits.

Subscriptions purchased on iOS are handled by Apple through Apple In-App Purchase. Subscriptions purchased on Android are handled by Google through Google Play Billing.

Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment methods are managed by Apple or Google according to their rules and your store account settings.

Premium access may continue until the end of the paid subscription period after cancellation. If a subscription expires, is refunded, revoked, or cannot be verified, Premium access may be removed.

8. Free Plan Limits

The app may include free-plan limits such as limits on active trips, itinerary days, packing categories, packing items, saved World locations, or sharing features.

We may change Free and Premium features, limits, pricing, and availability over time. If we make important changes, we will try to communicate them clearly in the app or through appropriate channels.

9. No Travel Guarantee

Travel information can change quickly. Dates, routes, documents, visas, flight details, hotel details, opening hours, prices, weather, and local rules may change.

You are responsible for verifying all travel information with official sources, airlines, hotels, governments, transportation providers, and other relevant parties before and during your trip.

We are not responsible for missed flights, incorrect plans, visa issues, cancellations, losses, delays, safety incidents, or other travel-related problems.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app. This includes attempting to interfere with the app, bypass limits, access other users' data, upload harmful files, abuse sharing features, reverse engineer the app, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

11. Service Availability

We work to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. The app may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party services, network problems, or other reasons.

12. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services for maps, authentication, payments, analytics, storage, email, image moderation, or other functionality.

We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their content, or their practices. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The app, design, branding, software, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or misuse our intellectual property except as allowed by law or by written permission.

You keep ownership of the content you add to the app, but you grant us the limited right to store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service.

14. Account Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the app or other users, or if required by law.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, travel costs, business, goodwill, or other losses arising from your use of the app.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we may notify you in the app or through another reasonable method. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
